More About Tegan

Tegan is a small, simple and quite powerful, pure Cocoa application based on GPL HandBrakeCLI utility. It allows to convert video files in many various formats. Supported formats of source files are MPEG, MOV, AVI, FLV, WMV, Matroska, VOB, etc.

Application can be used to convert videos to format that can be used with iTunes, QuickTime Player and various Apple devices like iPod, iPhone or iPad without problems. To play the converted files there is no need to use third-party utilities or plugins.

Tegan is very easy to use: just drag and drop file on marked area in main window or on icon in Dock; the conversion will begin automatically. Moreover, it's possible to add subtitles in SRT format to converted video.

System Requirements

Intel based Macintosh, Mac OS X 10.6 or later. Tegan was designed for Snow Leopard and runs as 64-bit application.
